THE STORY OF FLOATWYCK MILK

One day Floatwyck Milk was sent to boarding school in 1963
He was signed in by the headmaster to say he would remain here until he reached the age of 16.
On his first day at boarding school Floatwyck Milk was set upon by Skippy Bloggs and Billy Bosh, two bullies who picked on new boys for sport. They, together with Douglas Milton grabbed hold of the new boy and threw him across the room. The boy's screams brought the headmaster running towards the locker room.
"Hey! what's all this, picking on this new boy, he's only been here for an hour, so you pick on him."
The two bullies got the cane.
Later on the new boy went up to the packing room to have his suitcase unpacked. With him was another boy - John Wyrtlim, whose suitcase had paint splashed all over it.
"I bet it's Bloggs and his gang, those rotten bullies.
"Skippy Bloggs threw a chair at me last term. My mate, Rudlip Score can deal with them, he'll make mincemeat out of them.
Also, watch out for Douglas Milton, he's one of those troublemakers.
The new boy also mentioned to Rudlip Score that a gang of three bullies threw him across the locker room earlier on.
"It must be those yobs said John Wyrtlim, the same boys who splashed paint all over my case.
The matron happened to notice the paint stained suitcase. She said:
'If I find who did this to your suitcase I'll ring their necks."
The Bloggs gang happened to be in the same room, but because the matron was there it was safe, but what they did do was make a load of noise.
Douglas Milton, one of the Bloggs Gang, was a notorious bully.
He once threw a boy into a pit full of snakes in the spinney. Luckily  he happened to get out in time before the snakes could get him.
Mr.Smudger, one of the teachers saw what went on and reported the bully to the headmaster.
The bully got the thrashing of his life.
Once, during a football match Douglas Milton tripped a boy over and shoved earth into his mouth.
Mr. Inkpot, the deputy headmaster, who happened to be coaching the game, reported the incident to the head after the game was over.
The bully got the cane for forcing one of the boys to eat earth and fouling on the football pitch.
One day, whilst the boys were in their class, Pete Mugg, one of Skippy Blogg's gang went up to one of the dormitories and set it alight.
The boys were busy doing their lessons whilst this was going on, but, 'the headmaster who happened to be walking along suddenly they saw smoke in the entrance hall. He went up to investigate and saw a dormitory on fire. The fire brigade were called and they put out the blaze.
Later that day the head called all the boys out into the entrance hall.
He made a special announcement.
"You all know that there's been a terrible crime that's been committed at this school.
One of the dormitories has been set alight.
I'll soon find whose responsible for this terrible outrage. Until then no boy goes home on weekend leave."
The police were called to give every boy a detection test. The bleeper went off when it touched one boy, and that boy was Pete Mugg. He got sent to Borstal for arson, setting fire to a school dormitory.
Skippy Bloggs and his gang were notorious bullies and savages who picked on other boys for nothing, and Pete Mugg, the arsonist was one of their gang.
The dormitory that got set alight happened to be the same room in which Floatwyck Milk slept in. Because of this the gymnasium had to be used as a temporary dormitory until the fire damaged room was repaired, and this took five months.
