CATCHING FISH ON THE RAILWAY LINE

This scene took place on a railway line around the coast at Boycombe Bay Torbay, Devon. It was here where Sir Thomas Hardmeat caught fish on the railway line. They mingled with the happy trains that trundled along this London to West South Devon Railway. This line that’s at Paddington Central and goes through 5,000 stations, one of them, Lycombe, a small seaside town near Berrynarbor, North Devon, close to the village town of Martin Combe where a famous pub called “The Pack of Lies stands” its here where Uncle Tom Cobbler gave a lecture.
Uncle Tom Cobbler was the proprietor of Widecombe Fair. His deputy was Tom Pierce.
Widecombe – on – the Moor was near Widecombe – on – the Less.
