One day Kevin Train, a member of Doonsdale Day C helped himself to a huge portion of cocktail fruit, the extra load of which was meant to feed other members. This enraged another member who raved at him and told him to perish to hell.
The angry man was Eric Crossways, a resident at The Ted Banks nursing home, only a few yards away.
Enraged at what Kevin had done, taking food which was meant to feed other people, the other man stormed off, back to his own home.
Other members were alarmed at the spiteful outburst aimed at another member.
